  • Strategic HR Leadership:
  • Lead the HR department in alignment with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.

  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including compliance, employee relations, and performance management.


  • Risk Management:
  • Identify potential HR risks related to compliance and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Oversee the investigation and resolution of employee complaints and disputes to ensure fair and compliant practices.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies.


  • Training and Development:
  • Develop and deliver training programs on compliance, ethics, and other HR-related topics to ensure employees and managers understand their responsibilities.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development to enhance employees' skills and knowledge in areas related to compliance and risk management.


  • Recruitment and Talent Management:
  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure they are conducted in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Implement effective talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent within the brokerage.


  • Employee Benefits and Compensation:
  • Manage employee benefits programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Oversee compensation practices to ensure they are competitive and equitable while meeting regulatory requirements.


  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation related to compliance, training, and employee relations.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on HR compliance, risks, and other relevant metrics to senior management.


  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly as they pertain to the insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of compliance and risk management practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and other relevant technology.
