The RN Patient Care Navigator Lead position at Pinnacle will allow you to engage with the patient throughout their journey while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care.
We are seeking a RN Patient Care Navigator Lead to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle IVF in Atlanta, GA. This is a Full-Time position, 40 hours per week, working Monday - Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm with occasional weekends and holidays required.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Directs clinical staff as needed to improve operational efficiencies and service delivery.
- Creates and communicates clinical staffing schedules and ensures they are present and working.
- Ensures regulations are being followed, updated and proper training is completed for staff members on a continual basis.
- Responsible for obtaining and maintaining Quad-A accreditation.
- Managing surgical and anesthesia schedules.
- Managing on-call rotation schedules.
- Coordinates and facilitates the effective delivery of patient services within the assigned work area by regularly monitoring patient flow.
- Assists in the training and orientation of new staff; and training existing staff on new or revised policies and procedures.
- Assists in addressing and resolving day-to-day clinical issues.
- Serves as a role model for the clinical staff by exemplary performance, commitment to the organization and its mission, goals and vision.
- Attend and/or lead appropriate meetings.
- Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records including nAble system.
- Perform nursing care within the surgical suite, pre-, intra- & postoperatively in accordance with standards of practice.
- Perform procedures as allowed by state law, licensure and with appropriate training and supervision.
- Administers medication.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, and calling for assistance from other health care support personnel when appropriate.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
- Ensures operation of equipment by following manufacturer’s instructions; performs routine maintenance and acts as liaison with the company.
- Provide patient education and counseling.
- Navigate patients through their fertility journey including initial visit, diagnostic testing, follow-up and treatment.
- Coordinate patient cycles and maintain patient calendar, ordering appropriate medications, scheduling blood work and monitoring visits, scheduling treatment services.
- Accepts/makes phone calls regarding laboratory values and semen study results with appropriate explanation.
- Comforts patients by anticipating patients’ anxieties; answering patients’ questions as permitted.
- Ensures quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards; follows physician practice and nursing division philosophies, as well as standards of care set by the state and other governing agency regulations.
- Maintains patient charting, testing flow sheets.
- Reviews and abstracts patient records.
- Accepts resource assignment; assists all staff with information of area assigned.
- Covers weekends and holidays per rotating schedule.
- Accepts on-call rotation schedule for after-hours phone support to patients.
- Cooperates, interfaces and works independently to assure the program goals are achieved.
- Acts as an active participant on teams giving input and ideas, treating all team members with respect.
- Follow up on commitments made to the team for action items and communicates status of action items.
- Communicates clearly and openly at all times.
- Contributes to team effort by maintaining an excellent rapport and working relationship with clinical team and front desk/scheduling staff; cooperating with all other departments within the clinic.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
- Accepts constructive feedback and seeks to improve performance continuously.
- Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- RN (2 year degree program) required. B.S.N. preferred.
- Current state RN license without limitations required.
- Fertility experience strongly preferred
- Maintain updated ACLS and BLS licenses as required.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with employees and the general public.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations and to conduct daily duties in a professional appearance and manner.
- Ability to work independently to manage a caseload of patients.

- Follows all state regulations regarding professional license

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$33.00 - $47.00 hourly
The compensation range for this position is between $33.00 and $47.00 per hour. Final compensation offers will be determined based on factors such as years of experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, dental, life, and vision insurance.
