You see each child as a genius who has unique passions and strengths with a greater purpose to change the world.

Required Experience & Abilities

  • 2+ years of working with kids
  • Experience teaching kids new skills
  • Punctual, track record of running and sticking to a schedule

  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Entrepreneurial or sales experience to recruit families who align with the WOM vision
  • Creative, self-starter willing to solve problems on the fly

About Us

WOM operates upon three founding values— Passion, Outdoors, and Grit. Think Shark Tank meets Bear Grills meets Mr. Miyagi (Karate Kid). We believe when learners unlock their passion, they flourish and so does their community.  Our learners are exposed to real-world apprenticeships like surfing, rock climbing, woodworking, entrepreneurship, culinary arts, film, songwriting, and more.  Every learner is unique and our school is designed to customize learning according to the interests and talents of the individual. And it’s fun WOM learners spend the majority of their day exploring the outdoors through adventure.  And finally, research shows the common denominator for kids’ future success is determined by the level of grit they have.  At WOM we see kids gain confidence by  committing to challenges and setting goals they see come to fruition.

Scope of Work

  • Prepare all business and location set up before school starts (grunt work)
  • Socratically lead and mentor WOM learners
  • Build foundational systems that make WOM excellent
