Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Breast Imaging Specialist to join our esteemed facility, recognized as an ACR - Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a MQSA accredited environment that is integrated with a leading NCI Cancer Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in a collaborative setting with 2-4 breast surgeons supported by NAPBC accreditation.
  • Participate in a weekly tumor board to discuss patient cases and treatment options.
  • Maintain a schedule of Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with no mandatory call responsibilities.
  • Explore leadership opportunities within the department.

Equipment and Procedures:

  • Utilize advanced technology including Two 3D Tomographic Units, state-of-the-art ultrasound, GE Advantage MRI, and Dexa.
  • Perform a variety of procedures such as Digital Breast Tomosynthesis, DBT-guided breast biopsy, Breast Ultrasound, and US-guided breast biopsy.
  • Conduct Breast MRI and MRI-guided breast biopsy, as well as pre-operative Savi Scout localization and US-guided cryoablation of fibroadenomas.

Annual Volume: The facility handles approximately 8,500 screening exams, 2,000 diagnostic mammograms, and 500 procedures each year, providing a robust clinical experience.
