Procurement Contract Specialist

Job Overview:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Contract Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from negotiating terms to ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of procurement processes and contract management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Oversee the creation, negotiation, and management of procurement contracts.
- Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Procurement Support: Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely and accurate sourcing of goods and services.
- Compliance: Ensure contracts meet legal, regulatory, and corporate compliance standards.
- Document Control: Maintain a comprehensive database of contracts and related documentation.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and address potential risks in contract terms and negotiations.
- Budgeting: Support budgeting and financial forecasting efforts related to procurement.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on contract status, performance metrics, and procurement activities.
- Auditing: Assist with contract audits and reviews to ensure adherence to guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in contract administration, procurement, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement policies, and supplier management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in industries such as construction, manufacturing, or technology.
