Day-to-Day Responsibilities: A client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Tax Consultant to join their public accounting organization in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This individual will be responsible for overseeing tax accounting projects for privately held businesses, ensuring compliance with regulations. This individual will manage, coach, and lead a team of tax accountants in preparation and technical review processes. They will consult with clients to solve complex tax issues and enhance client partnerships. The Tax Manager will possess strong consultation and communication skills to ensure the team is solving problems for their clients. Additionally, this role will enhance the tax organization by empowering the current tax accountants and by being a strong partner to clients.
