We are seeking a Senior Tax Consultant to enhance our High Net Worth tax practice. This individual will supervise the tax preparation process primarily for individuals and trusts, ensuring adherence to state and federal tax regulations. Additionally, the Senior Tax Consultant will oversee and manage tax assignments, perform administrative tasks, and be responsible for training, supporting, supervising, motivating, and evaluating the performance of their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering tax planning and compliance services for high net worth individuals and associated trusts.
  • Building and maintaining exceptional client relationships to become a trusted advisor.
  • Identifying challenges and proposing innovative solutions to complex client issues.
  • Managing client engagements to meet service expectations effectively.
  • Developing and expanding a business network with referral relationships, potential clients, and organizations to attract new business opportunities.
  • Holding yourself and your team accountable for achieving business development objectives.
  • Recruiting, developing, and inspiring team members.
  • Fostering a collaborative environment where team members seek input and ideas from one another.
  • Encouraging a culture of engagement, inclusion, and accountability aligned with the organization's core values and competencies.
  • Setting and achieving ambitious goals periodically to enhance your value and contribution to the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; a Master's degree in Tax is preferred; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • 5+ years of recent experience in an accounting firm, including managing multiple tax accounting projects and client engagements, directing and scheduling staff, and overseeing workflow.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and networking abilities.
  • Proficient in managing and cultivating strong client relationships.
  • Experience with tax software and technology.
