Legal Receptionist

As a Legal Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, attorneys, and visitors, playing a key role in creating a professional and welcoming environment. This position requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. This position is full time and for temporary coverage.


Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Greet clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer multi-line phones, screen calls, and direct them appropriately to attorneys or staff.
  • Schedule appointments, confirm attendance, and maintain attorney calendars.
  • Prepare and distribute legal documents (copying, scanning, faxing).
  • Assist with client intake procedures and collect basic information.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 year of experience in a legal or professional office setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
