Job Title: Collections Agent

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Start Date: October 14th

Pay Rate: $21/hr (with a $0.50 raise after 4 months and another $0.50 raise at 6 months)

Duration: 2-year contract with the possibility for conversion from the 6-month mark and onwards (based on business need and performance)

Interview Process: Onsite - one and done 30-minute interviews


Must Haves:

  • 2+ years of experience working in a Collections Call Center
  • Critical thinking skills, specifically knowing how to build rapport and provide solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable in a heavy phone support role
  • Must be reliable and available to work onsite in Phoenix, AZ
  • Must be able to work 2 Saturdays per month

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inbound and outbound calls, speaking with approximately 32 members per day
  • Understand members’ needs and provide solutions to help improve their financial security
  • Contact members by telephone to negotiate debt recovery
  • Negotiate settlements to receive payment on percentages of loans
