Principal Job Duties

  • System Design & Development: Create and maintain control systems.
  • 24/7 Support Management: Oversee support for continuous production operations.
  • Collaboration: Work with engineers, IT, purchasers, and internal staff.
  • Client & Regulatory Liaison: Interact with clients, suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Project Management: Handle projects within cost and time constraints.
  • Troubleshooting & Compliance: Set up and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Consultancy & Training: Provide advice, support, and training to maintenance departments.
  • Specification Writing: Draft specifications for new software requirements.


Requirements:

  • 5-10+ years in manufacturing.
  • 5+ years with SQL.
  • 5+ years with any ERP system.
  • 5+ years with Aveva Wonderware.
  • 1+ year of Java.
  • 5+ years in data flow, inventory transfer, etc.
  • 2+ years with PLCs.
  • 5+ years with MES or similar platforms like Ignition.


Required Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with 2 years of related experience, or 5 years of professional experience.
  • 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, Rockwell RSLogix, Omron PLCs, Wonderware, ACP ThinManager, Microsoft SQL Server, AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat, and more.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
