This position is responsible for maintaining a consistent, accurate, and timely delivery of quotes to new and existing customers, maintaining project files, ordering and scheduling materials, reading and interpreting plans, and communicating with clients and engineers. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop project budgets (including labor and materials cost), schedules, & timelines
  • Comprehensive analysis of scope of work
  • Accurate take-off of all required materials using PlanSwift or BlueBeam
  • Maintain up-to-date subcontractor pricing and scopes of work
  • Review bids with company leadership team before submitting
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
  • Review completed project summaries with company leadership team


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years of experience in underground utilities and civil site development estimation/project management
  • Working knowledge of AGTEK or INSITE
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent math skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Effective communication skills
  • A valid driver's license
  • High standards of honesty, integrity, and commitment to producing a quality work product


Preferred Requirements/Skills:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Working knowledge of computer-aided estimating software (ProEstimate.net)
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans
