Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on production and facility equipment to ensure smooth operations.
  • Align and realign pumps and motors, and replace mechanical seals in centrifugal pumps.
  • Install, repair, and thread piping systems, ensuring proper torque specifications for various materials.
  • Handle electrical tasks, including unwiring, rewiring, and installing conduits for electric motors.
  • Conduct facility maintenance such as drywall repair, carpentry, plumbing, and low-voltage electrical work.
  • Utilize plant HMI systems for data collection and troubleshooting, ensuring accurate diagnostics.
  • Plan and execute process improvement projects with internal stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Perform oil changes, leak detection, and repairs on gearboxes, ANSI chains, AOD pumps, and other mechanical components.

What you need for this position:

  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, with expertise in rotating equipment.
  • Proficiency in 240V-480V industrial electrical installations is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, piping, basic electrical systems, carpentry, and industrial maintenance.
  • Experience with machining and/or fabrication is a plus.
  • Ability to work safely at heights, in various weather conditions, and with different powered industrial vehicles.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, email communication, and internet research.
  • Strong safety knowledge and adherence to all safety requirements.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work extended hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
