Position Overview:
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting routine and emergency maintenance on production and facility machinery to maintain operational efficiency.
- Aligning and realigning motors and pumps, as well as replacing mechanical seals in centrifugal pumps.
- Installing, repairing, and threading piping systems while adhering to proper torque specifications.
- Performing electrical tasks, including rewiring and installing conduits for electric motors.
- Executing facility maintenance tasks such as drywall repair, plumbing, carpentry, and low-voltage electrical work.
- Utilizing plant HMI systems for effective data collection and troubleshooting.
- Collaborating with internal teams to plan and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Carrying out oil changes, leak detection, and repairs on various mechanical components.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing setting, particularly with rotating equipment.
- Strong proficiency in 240V-480V industrial electrical installations is preferred.
- Solid understanding of plumbing, piping, basic electrical systems, and industrial maintenance practices.
- Experience in machining and fabrication is advantageous.
- Ability to work safely at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Excel and Word.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours as necessary.
