Looking to hire a Core Equipment Engineer to work on site in Maryland.


As a Core Equipment Engineering (CEE) Center Engineer you will review Capacity Creation Requests (CCR) from various Planning organizations and create and issue Telephone Equipment Orders (TEO) for the Engineering, Furnish, and Installation of Central Office Equipment.



No VISA, No C2C or third-party candidates



What will you be doing as a Core Equipment Engineer?

• Analysis of CCRs for scope of job and nature of work.

• Issuing Requests for Quote to Vendors for Engineering and Installation services.

• Reviewing and properly ordering major material as required to fulfill the scope of the CCR.

• Monitor, Manage, Supplement if required, and Close VSAP Financial Projects.

• Work closely with Field Engineers, Network Installation, Purchasing, and Vendors to ensure all equipment is properly ordered and all job requirements are met.

• Monitor TEOs for Invoice issues and payment disputes.

• Review and process Change Orders as required.

• Track Material for various jobs as needed.


What do you bring to the table as a Core Equipment Engineer?

• Knowledge of telecommunications equipment.

• Project Management experience

• COE Center Engineer experience.

• Experience with material ordering and tracking.

• Experience with financial project monitoring and closure.

• Experience with Engineering Systems such as: CCP, UUI CoFEE, VSAP, MSolv, COEP.

• Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Experience with GSuite / Google Workspace programs (Gmail, Google Drive, Sheets)
