Technical Business Manager (M/F)

Position based in Mobile (Alabama - USA)


Your main missions will be to ensure the development, coordination, and profitability of your area. Your responsibilities will revolve around four main axes:


Technical management and customer relations:

  • Be the key contact for clients
  • Analyze customer needs and respond technically and economically
  • Ensure project success from design to implementation
  • Conduct feasibility studies and concept research
  • Define and validate technical orientations in agreement with the client
  • Perform CAD design according to specifications
  • Oversee all project phases (production, development, commissioning, and maintenance)
  • Validate client deliverables and ensure their quality
  • Ensure proper functioning of the manufacturing process
  • Guarantee follow-up of technical and commercial relations with clients


Profit center management:

  • Monitor profitability and revenue of your activity
  • Estimate study and manufacturing costs
  • Develop technical and economic offers
  • Identify all aspects of the activity, report, and propose corrective actions


Business development:

  • Develop and diversify activities
  • Grow your client portfolio
  • Strengthen loyalty of existing clients


Human resources management:

  • Recruit, manage, and develop your team
  • Ensure coordination of teams and studies



DESIRED PROFILE


With a Master's degree in mechanical engineering coupled with a background in commercial management, you have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position in the industrial sector. Your leadership, proactivity, and rigor will be essential assets to succeed in this position. You are recognized for your team spirit and excellent client relationship skills.


Required skills:

  • Expertise in technical project management
  • Advanced CAD skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage a team and develop an activity
  • Fluency in English essential
  • Aerospace experience highly desirable
