We’re excited to present a fantastic opportunity with one of our long-standing clients—a leading small to medium-sized owner representative and construction management firm based in New York. With a proven track record spanning 17 years, this firm excels in delivering exceptional services to a diverse portfolio of clients and is committed to fostering the professional growth and success of its team.
Are you an exceptionally organized and detail-oriented team player? Our client, a boutique cost management firm within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, is seeking a Director of Scheduling to join their vibrant team in New York City. The firm, renowned for its high-quality work on prestigious projects such as the redevelopment of the NYC Moynihan Train Hall Station and enhancements at the U.S. Capitol Building, is looking for someone with your expertise.
Position Summary:
Based in either their NYC or Maryland office, with travel to both locations and project sites as needed, you will provide executive leadership for core scheduling functions. Your responsibilities will include managing and controlling all scheduling activities, such as critical path method (CPM), scheduling, and claims administration. You’ll conduct project analyses and prepare reports on monthly progress, documenting any deficiencies, issues, risks, or overruns. You will also identify improvements for scheduling procedures, templates, and products, and present these ideas to Project Cost Managers.
Additionally, you will play a key role in business development through proposal preparation and maintaining relationships with current and potential clients. As a leader, you will manage and develop staff resources within the assigned core business function.
We look forward to the possibility of you bringing your expertise to our client’s team and contributing to their continued success.
