Job Description

The HERCC Device Asset Manager works under the direction of the EITS Director and/or Assistant Director. Responsible for managing HERCC One talk, flip phone, and cradle point routers. Responsible for inventory, installation, day to day support and administrative operations. The HERCC Device Asset Manager will work with vendors, facilitating and managing HERCC project deliverables.

General tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for Mobile device procurement for HERCC One talk, flip phone, and cradle point routers devices
  • Responsible to perform monthly invoice analysis, validation, and payment approval on all HERCC One talk, flip phone, and cradle point routers.
  • Responsible to track and resolve billing disputes/discrepancies with various carriers, present escalation issues, status report findings to Director.
  • Manage One talk, flip phone, and cradle point routers device inventory program.
  • Maintains records and databases containing information regarding deployed and on stock inventory of One talk, flip phone, and cradle point routers devices; to include but not limited to make, model, PO numbers, serial number, IT Inventory number, location, device name, (if applicable).
  • Participates in budgetary planning for HERCC One talk, flip phone, and cradle point routers, reviews operating costs, performs cost studies and assists with department budgets.
  • Assist with studies related to the HERCC hotel equipment deployment and analyzes modifications and development of systems and procedures to improve HERCC One talk, flip phone, and cradle point routers operations.
  • Responsible to validate currently deployed equipment to ensure database records, locations records, phone numbers are current.
  • Responsible to ensure par level HERCC One talk, flip phone, and cradle point routers inventory stock.
  • Responsible to tracks quality throughout the product lifetime, report defects and process relinquishment
  • Responsible to ensure HERCC project/department milestones/goals are met.
  • Responsible to performs other duties as assigned/required.

Minimum Qualifications

1. A Baccalaureate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related fields; and,

2. Five years of progressively responsible experience in the fields of administration, office management, methods analysis, systems analysis and documentation, forms designs and control, two of which shall have been in data processing and management information systems; and,

3. General knowledge of computer and communication capabilities, E.D.P. applications, systems analysis methodology, data management and information retrieval techniques; or,

4. Satisfactory combination of equivalent experience and education.
