What you'll do:

  • Review Quality Management System policies & procedures updates and controls
  • Maintain administrative document and record retention controls
  • Execute operating facilities’ internal/external audit; readiness, scheduling, payments, and report management
  • Develop and manage the QA training program
  • Develop expertise with regards to industry policy, regulatory rules and actions as well as industry association rules and actions
  • Provide leadership & guidance with regards to impact of proposed or released industry regulatory and/or association rule changes as it affects the Quality Management System
  • Exude complex problem solving activities within manufacturing or engineering
  • Work with appropriate manufacturing and supplier personnel for facility certification
  • Collaborate with other departments to exchange quality information and to promote quality principals
  • Participate in meetings and provides training as required


What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree required, technical discipline preferred
  • 5 years of Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or Engineering experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ethics, and an energetic attitude
  • Attention to detail, must be meticulous and consistent
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, MS SharePoint
  • Ability to conceptualize, analyze, plan and organize projects
  • Ability to interpret and evaluate engineering drawings and regulatory codes
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, product testing, standards and/or regulations
  • Willingness to learn about Welding, Coatings, and NDT principles, disciplines, and science
  • Six Sigma or Lean skills and tools exposure is a plus
  • Travel up to 20% - Must be able to travel to Mexico and Canada
