Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the incumbent is to perform quality assessments of Organ and Tissue Electronic Donor Records to ensure adherence to the policies and procedures of Southwest Transplant Alliance, as well as relevant governmental regulations and laws.

Job Requirements:
- An Associate's degree in health sciences or equivalent professional experience is required.
- A minimum of three years in a medical records or quality assurance capacity is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with medical records and procedures is essential.
- Knowledge of organ and tissue procurement and/or transplantation is advantageous.
- Experience with Q-Pulse and iTransplant systems is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail is crucial.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and time management skills are necessary.
- Excellent communication abilities are required, with the capacity to engage effectively with personnel at all levels, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team is required.
- Ability to manage high-stress situations and maintain productivity under a heavy workload is essential.
- Proficiency in business software, including Microsoft Office, is required.

Essential Job Functions:
- Execute all essential functions as outlined in the Quality and Compliance Auditor I job description, including conducting chart audits, data validation, reporting, and documentation.
- Act as a mentor to Quality and Compliance Auditor I.
- Engage in internal and process audits to verify accuracy and compliance with Southwest Transplant Alliance's policies, as well as AATB, AOPO, CMS, FDA, OPTN, and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Contribute to the formulation of audit plans and schedules.
- Assist the audit team in preparing audit reports and present findings to leadership as necessary.
