The Salesforce/Business Process Architect is a senior technical role reporting to the Director of IT Platforms. The Business Process Architect will analyze company processes, design CRM structures and workflows within Salesforce and other platforms, and develop tailored solutions for specific business needs.
The ideal candidate must possess a solid grasp of business process concepts, exceptional communication abilities, and the capacity to collaborate with users to understand and engineer process requirements. They will then translate these requirements into Salesforce structures and workflows. Understanding the criticality of proper documentation, testing, and configuration management in a production environment is essential. Candidates should thrive in a fast-paced setting and aspire to build agile business process platforms that drive the company’s strategic goals forward.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop customized CRM solutions leveraging the Salesforce platform.
- Provide technical guidance to junior members of the platform team.
- Participate in requirement gathering, produce functional analyses, and facilitate user workshops.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, users, and developers throughout all phases of development, from architecture through testing and maintenance.
- Establish timelines and set objectives.
- Address support, reporting, and enhancement requests from internal stakeholders and management.
- Define, document, and enforce design and implementation standards to maintain a well-controlled Salesforce environment.
- Manage API interfaces between the Salesforce platform and custom middleware.
- Optimize Salesforce platform performance and ensure data integrity through performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and user behavior analysis.
- Research, analyze, and diagnose problems and data integrity issues across Salesforce and integrated platforms, providing recommendations and implementing solutions.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation updates, communicating changes to team members as needed.
- Assist in developing training materials and conduct "train-the-trainer" sessions for new system changes and enhancements.
- Manage special projects and assignments as directed by management.
Required Technical and Soft Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- 4 to 6+ years of direct experience as a Salesforce Developer/Architect.
- Proficiency in Salesforce IDE (Integrated Development Environment) with hands-on experience in tools like Flow, VisualForce, and APEX.
- Familiarity with the Lightning framework.
- Understanding of entity relationships and state machine design.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex application issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
