About this Role
As a Mobile Device Management Specialist, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert in managing corporate mobile devices, including iPads, iPhones, Android phones, tablets, and other mobile technologies. You will be a key escalation point for mobile device support and will act as a hands-on technician responsible for the technical environment, inventory management, compliance, and cost-effectiveness of our mobile device ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Expertise: Manage and support corporate mobile devices, including iPads, iPhones, Android phones, and tablets. Act as an escalation point for device support, deployment, and management.
- Device Management: Configure and provision mobile devices, build device profiles, and deploy applications using Intune and other Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) technologies.
- Operational Excellence: Develop and update team operational policies, document and maintain standard operating procedures, and ensure compliance with established practices.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing issues efficiently and effectively while working with other departments to test and implement solutions.
- Leadership: Lead and build an enterprise mobile device management team, driving service excellence with internal and external delivery teams.
- Technology Integration: Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, including familiarity with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) technologies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to ensure the successful implementation and integration of mobile devices and applications.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation related to mobile device management and operational procedures.

The Ideal Candidate
- Education: Associate’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a computer hardware environment with hands-on expertise in mobile device management.
- Skills:
- Intune Management: Proven experience with Intune for mobile device management.
- Leadership: Experience in leading or building an enterprise mobile device management team.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in configuring and provisioning mobile devices, creating device profiles, and deploying applications.
- EMM Technologies: Experience with Enterprise Mobility Management portals such as Airwatch, MaaS 360, and other MDM technologies.
- Apple Devices: Strong technical expertise in managing Apple mobile devices.
- MFA Technologies: Familiarity with Multi-Factor Authentication technologies.
- MS Office 365 & Active Directory: Good working knowledge of MS Office 365 and MS Active Directory Services.
- ITIL Methodologies: Knowledge of ITIL methodologies associated with Service Management.
