Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis and interpretation of deeds, probate documentation, trust agreements, assignments, and title opinions to determine mineral ownership.
  • Obtain and interpret curative materials to resolve title defects and other issues.
  • Calculate Division of Interest to ensure timely royalty payments.
  • Create and manage Division Orders and supplemental Division Orders.
  • Maintain and update Joint Interest Billing decks based on new information.
  • Communicate effectively within the Land Administration team and with E&P, Accounting, Marketing, and Legal departments, as well as external owners, vendors, and other customers.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
  • Verify outside-operated Division Orders for accuracy.
  • Address inquiries from interest owners and liaise with Accounting, Lease Records, and Marketing as necessary.
  • Update divisions of interest following payouts and recompletions.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in analyzing deeds, probate documentation, trust agreements, and titles.
  • Experience in generating Division Orders.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and spreadsheets.


Desired Skillsets:

  • Experience with Quorum software.
  • Familiarity with the East Texas and/or North Louisiana area.
