The Financial Business Analyst role is pivotal in ensuring the effective monitoring, analysis, and enhancement of financial performance and strategic objectives. You will collaborate closely with the Division Controller, Business Line Manager, and other key stakeholders from operations to contribute to the overall success of the organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Performance monitoring and reporting: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives of the Division, utilizing digital tools and integration solutions to gather real-time data for insightful analysis to manage profitability & cash flow.
  • Accounting policies and compliance: Collaborate with the hub (shared services) development and maintenance of accounting policies, ensuring efficient implementation and monitoring compliance across the organization.
  • Commercial reviews and analysis: Participate in commercial reviews with various Business Lines, and provide data-driven insights that contribute to informed decision-making.
  • Ad-Hoc projects and support: Undertake ad-hoc projects and provide support activities as directed by the Controller as well as interact with Division HQ staff to address specific requests.
  • Forecasting and planning: Assist in the preparation of rolling forecasts and budgets for the Division, and interact with various operations functions to gather accurate and timely insights to build forward-looking strategies.
  • Competencies & Behavior Analytic mindset: leveraging new tools with digital enablement at his or her disposal to analyze large amounts of data & summarize them to meaningful takeaways for management to help with business decisions.
  • Strong People skills: Utilize his/her communication to create a culture of feedback towards process improvements and align teams towards common business goals. Qualification & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, or a related field.
  • 4 to 6 years experience in finance/accounting.
  • P&L and financial statements experience is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SAP preferred.
