  • 9+ years of experience working as a DBA within SQL
  • Experience with migration to cloud based solutions, development, performance testing, disaster recovery, monitoring, tuning, maintenance, and upgrades
  • Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • They wont devolop SSIS they will find efficiencies and fix broken code – need to know how to read the code mostly – small amount of devolopment skills needed
  • Mentorship/lead experience
  • Experience being Hands on as a DBA

Pluses:

Primary Responsibilities

- Lead data migration projects to Amazon Web Services (AWS), ensuring secure and efficient transfer of data.

- Utilize SSIS to streamline processes, increase efficiencies, and improve data management practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within SSIS packages, including debugging and code optimization.

- Conduct performance testing and tuning of databases to ensure optimal functionality.

- Implement and oversee disaster recovery strategies to maintain data integrity and availability.

- Monitor database systems to identify and resolve issues proactively.

- Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including backups, indexing, and database optimization.

- Plan and execute database upgrades and patches to ensure security and performance standards are met.
