Our client is looking for a Medical Affairs Consultant for a fully remote, 1 year contract The Medical Affairs Consultant will assist the Medical Strategy Head (CNS) in executing on Medical Excellence vision and goals, ensuring a strong understanding of industry trends.


Responsibilities:


  • Understands how medical excellence goals and activities connect with and change the work beyond medical strategy function to drive joint outcomes for medical affairs function.
  • Responsible for leading Medical Excellence for Med Affairs Strategy.
  • Oversee aspects of Medical Strategy operations.
  • Manage therapeutic area vendors.
  • Responsible for leading project management activities – Medical Strategy planning, SMART goals and 3 year roadmaps.
  • Assist with CNS strategy annual budget activities.
  • Congress Strategy/prioritization include congress plans (including meetings), as well as disease booth coordination and execution.
  • Develop and manage calendar of CNS focused meetings across various programs, to include congresses as well as US and global meetings.



Required Qualifications:


  • Relevant Doctorate Degree (MD, PharmD, PhD)
  • 8+ years of relevant Medical Affairs experience.
  • Prior experience in Medical Excellence/Operations.
  • Close collaboration with vendors related to Medical Excellence.
  • Strong understanding of pharma guidelines and codes pertaining to Medical Affairs activities.
