Medical Affairs Consultant

Our client is looking to fill the role of Medical Affairs Consultant - Early Asset Strategy. This will be a fully remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Executive Director of Medical Strategy to help define early asset development plan, indication prioritization, (non-clinical) and plans related to evidence generation
- Will be involved with shaping research discovery strategies requiring close interface with global R&D and Marketing leadership
- Assist closely to identify evidence and data gaps\
- Serve as core member for publication planning of pipeline assets and landscape evaluation
- Build strong relationships with experts to support key scientific insights of therapeutic area
- Will be responsible for leading advisory boards specific to insight gathering as required
Required Qualifications:
- Senior level Medical Affairs Strategy consultant with focus in early development or translational medicine
- Develop target product profiles indicated for early assets
- Seeking prior meaningful experience in either CNS or Neurology
- 10+ years of relevant medical affairs strategy expertise within a pharmaceutical environment
- Expertise in brand strategy, launch planning, competitive strategy, segmentation and positioning and early asset development
- Clear strength in medical planning, tactical plan development and execution, as well as ability to critically analyze research design, methods, and outcome measures
- Demonstrated track record of strategic thinking execution and operational excellence
- Strong working knowledge of pharma code and all guidelines around medical affairs activities
- MS Office Suite proficiency
- Master’s degree at a minimum, Doctorate level preferred (MD, PharmD)
