Let's Talk Speech is a leading "Contracted" Agency with New Jersey schools and supports students all throughout New Jersey. Services are provided in public, charter and private schools. At Let's Talk Speech, we focus on addressing a wide range of speech and language challenges, including feeding challenges, myofunctional disorders, articulation/phonological disorders, autism spectrum disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, literacy disorders, fluency disorders, selective mutism, auditory processing disorders, hearing loss, oral motor disorders, motor speech disorders, and augmentative and alternative communication. We are committed to providing high-quality and individualized school-based services and offer maximum supervision for Clinical Fellows.
Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Specialist to provide mandated speech-language therapy services to preschool and school aged students with disabilities. Clinicians will have varying responsibilities including treatment, evaluation, paperwork, case management, and meetings related to students, as per DOE protocol.
Maternity coverage from September 3-January 15
*Must have Speech Language Specialist Certification to apply
Requirements:
- Speech Language Specialist Certification
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certification or Clinical Fellows (We offer mentoring and training throughout of clinical fellowship program)
- Experience working with pediatric population preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt treatment plans as needed
-Knowledge of AAC
- Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help patients improve their quality of life
Job Types: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay: $60.00-$75.00 per hour
Expected hours: Full and part time positions available
Schedule:
