Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team of professionals in a school-based setting. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and evaluations to determine students' communication needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs and develop targeted treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide support to students in the classroom.
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology, and incorporate new knowledge and techniques into practice.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Florida license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Previous experience working in a school-based setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, parents, and other professionals.
