As an HR Generalist, you will be instrumental in supporting daily HR operations, including leave administration, assisting with employee relations, payroll and benefits support, HRIS system maintenance, recruiting assistance, and records management.


How You Will Make a Positive Impact:


  • Administer the leave programs and process, including FMLA, ADA, sick leave, state leave, and workers' compensation, from initial notice to return to work
  • Communicate with employees about leave needs, modified work schedules, and required documentation
  • Advise on the interaction of leave laws with paid time off, workers' compensation, and disability benefits
  • Provide HR support services to employees in the areas of benefits, policies, and payroll
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and issue resolution
  • Assist with employee relations, conducting investigations, and overseeing basic disciplinary matters
  • Facilitate various employee-related activities such as onboarding, orientation, separations and benefit open enrollment
  • Maintain accurate employee data within Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Support audits and compliance reviews


The Value You Bring:


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years HR Generalist experience
  • 2+ years of leave administration
  • SHRM Certification preferred
  • Strong HR skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across different levels of the organization
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and adaptability in ambiguous situations
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with multitasking capabilities
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communications
  • Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
  • Familiarity with HRIS software (preferably UKG) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to solve problems and solve conflicts
  • Basic problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Discretion when handling confidential information
  • Experience supporting mergers and acquisition is a plus
  • This is a hybrid role with 3 days onsite
