Human Resources Generalist

Our manufacturing client is seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Human Resources Generalist for their team. You’ll help keep things running smoothly for all employees by performing a variety of HR tasks. At least 2 years of experience is required for this excellent full-time role.

  • Responsibilities of the Human Resources GeneralistAdminister and execute HR functions including benefits and leave, compensation, performance management, recruitment and retention, and training and development
  • Maintain the Affirmative Action Program as a federal contractor
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees, provide a wide range of employee relations support, and participate in investigations, coaching sessions, etc. as required
  • Manage employee files
  • Coordinate updates to the employee handbook
  • Review job descriptions and standards
  • Support employee recognition programs and engagement activities
  • Foster a safe work environment
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned
  • Qualifications of the Human Resources GeneralistBachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field
  • 2+ years of HR generalist experience in a diverse work environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR principles and practices, as well as federal/state regulations and compliance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office and HR applications
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • High degree of discretion and confidentiality
