Ruffino Meats & Foodservice is seeking 2 direct sales executives in Houston TX.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities will require a highly motivated individual(s) all sales activity from initial meeting to customer development to sales close. These individuals will represent Ruffino Meats in and around the Houston market selling a wide variety of proteins and other food service & retail products. Ruffino is a processor of a variety of proteins with a 64-year history of great products and excellent customer service.
The Sales Representative will have proven sales experience in the meat industry and is interested in going to the next level. This position will be responsible for creating, developing, and driving sales within the following target markets: Hotels, Country Clubs, Restaurants, Retail chains etc. In addition to serving as a business development partner, the Sales Representative will build customer relationships, handle customer complaints and inquiries, and effectively communicate with all appropriate internal departments. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Win New Local Restaurant Business within designated territory
- Leverage technology to plan and support selling efforts
- Maximize volume and revenue in assigned accounts (base customers and new partnerships) utilizing fact-based selling methods
- Execution of Contract/Customer Development Agreements including Trade Payment Management
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with Restaurant customers and drive customer satisfaction through superior service and execution including contract renewals
- Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance
- Ensure customers are complying with PBC contract requirements
- Work closely with the Selling Operations team to improve overall customer satisfaction
- Analyze customer information and business trends using Dashboard & ERT data to identify and expand business opportunities
- Forecast responsibility
- Manage sales for accounts using market and product knowledge.
- Awareness of market conditions, trends and competitors’ pricing and practices.
- Work daily with pricing & margin management with accounts to drive sales.
- Keep in regular contact and follow up with customers to anticipate and meet their needs.
- Multitask efficiently
- Be able to develop sales plans and organize administrative responsibilities
- Be able to forecast.
- Own and execute sales related KPI's in line with management initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 5 years or more in meat sales.
- A minimum of 5 years or more in broadline sales.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Must be a self-starter able to work in a remote environment
- Team player.
- Must be computer proficient and familiarity with Canopy Systems is a plus
- Must have a passion for winning
