This opportunity is full time (8:30am - 5:30pm) and in office with one day remote after 90 days.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit matter opening forms; interact with attorneys and staff to gather necessary information to assist in the file opening process
  • Process conflict checks and prepare engagement letters
  • Create closing binders using Litera
  • Type, proofread, format, and edit correspondence, pleadings, memoranda, agreements, and other legal documents
  • Scan, save, and file documents from clients, other external sources, and internal sources into iManage
  • Prepare expense reimbursements
  • Provide support to legal assistants, paralegals, and attorneys
  • Work on other tasks as assigned


Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or a related area
  • At least three (3) years of experience as a Junior Paralegal in the area of commercial real estate
  • Working experience handling conflict checks, engagement letters, and preparing closing binders
  • Knowledge of legal real estate terminology
  • Proficiency in proofreading legal documents, redlining, and saving documents in iManage
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Pro
  • Experience in Litera and iManage preferred

Salary is up to $85,000
