Role Overview:

We are seeking a savvy and creative Social Media Specialist Intern/Contractor to join our dynamic team. Your main job will be to help MAIStyle increase brand awareness and grow our user base through creative and engaging social media strategies. In this role, you will take charge of our social media accounts across major platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc. Your passion for fashion and beauty, coupled with your storytelling skills through content creation, will help our brand connect with our audience in exciting and meaningful ways.


Responsibilities:

  • Grow and Engage: Increase MAIStyle’s online presence and drive customer engagement by growing our social media following and interacting with our audience.
  • Create Amazing Content: Collaborate with internal teams to produce captivating social media content, including images, videos, stories, reels, etc., that drives customer activity and purchasing.
  • Innovative Marketing: Develop and implement creative social media marketing content and strategies that resonate with our target audience.
  • Community Interaction: Engage with our audience, respond to inquiries, and foster a vibrant community around MAIStyle.
  • Analyze and Optimize: Optimize and analyze posts for engagement, using data to inform and improve future content strategies.
  • Promotions and Campaigns: Provide fresh ideas for website and social media promotions, maximizing our brand's visibility online.
  • Scheduling for Success: Schedule posts at optimal times to ensure maximum reach and engagement.
  • Campaign Execution: Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns, aligning with overall marketing strategies.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with fashion industry trends, social media best practices, and platform updates to keep our content fresh and relevant.
  • Identify Opportunities: Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in our social media approach.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer service, and product teams, to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
  • Measure Success: Use social media analytics tools to track the performance of campaigns and content, providing regular reports on key metrics and insights to evaluate the success of social media efforts.


Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing, Communication, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field.
  • Strong passion for fashion, beauty, and lifestyle content. 
  • Proven experience in content creation and copywriting for social media platforms.
  • Proficient in visual design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Figma, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software.
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinker with an awareness of the latest trends across social platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Direct experience working with major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest). 
  • Ability to tell engaging stories through posts and visuals.
  • Growth mindset with a desire to continuously improve and innovate.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics tools and ability to analyze data to inform strategies.
  • Personal styling or other fashion-related working experiences are a plus.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus.
