Summary:
The Project Manager will oversee the Electronic Engineering Project, managing engineering and project management activities for customer projects and product development. The role demands expertise and leadership in design and analysis, technical issue support, and review of designs and documentation. Additionally, the Project Manager will lead supplier sourcing discussions, handle bids and quotations, and provide technical support during pre-project phases.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee engineering activities related to customer projects and product development, including design reviews, problem-solving, analytical support, and leading the design process.
- Assist the purchasing team in supplier selection and the quality department in supplier quality audits.
- Manage and participate in bids and pre-project activities, providing technical reviews of costs and planning.
- Support purchasing teams during the pre-project phase.
- Adjust the size of the cross-functional team based on development demands and manage the team to enhance efficiency.
- Facilitate the transfer of technical dossiers to the production line and provide troubleshooting support to the production line.
- Support sales, engineering, and service needs as required.
- Promote continuous improvement within the unit.
- Ensure product designs comply with safety standards and norms.
- Contribute to a safe working environment and perform other duties as assigned.
- Support team members in understanding and upholding a strong safety culture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or higher.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and 5 years of experience in technical development leadership.
- Specific knowledge of Li-ion technology and Battery Management Systems.
- Strong leadership skills and business understanding of industrial and off-road mobility applications and the battery market.
