Summary:

  • We are searching for an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee and manage all electrical construction and maintenance activities on various projects in the Fort Myers area. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising electrical crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans and schedules for electrical work.
  • Ensure all electrical tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Prepare and maintain 2-3 week lookaheads to keep projects on schedule and meet critical milestones.
  • Lead and manage electrical crews, subcontractors, and other personnel.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities, providing guidance and support to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  • Enforce strict safety standards and protocols, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with relevant safety regulations and company policies. Conduct safety meetings and promote a safety-conscious work culture.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and project specifications. Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
  • Monitor project budgets and control costs for electrical activities. Provide input on cost estimates and track expenses.
  • Manage the procurement and inventory of electrical materials, tools, and equipment needed for projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and other construction documents.
  • Maintain clear and concise communication with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve electrical construction problems.
  • Document electrical work progress and maintain accurate project records.



  • Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the electrical construction industry.
  • Prior experience as an Electrical Superintendent or Foreman is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan, schedule, and prioritize work tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License.
