Position Overview

VanKirk Electric stands as a prominent national electrical subcontractor, focusing on multi-family construction initiatives throughout the United States.

The Construction Project Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing all facets of designated projects from inception to completion. This position entails adhering to the Superintendent Milestone program, ensuring that all work aligns with company standards, safety protocols, and OSHA regulations. The Supervisor will report directly to the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Examine project scope, plans, and layouts as provided by the Project Manager
  • Analyze project specifications and client requirements
  • Track project timelines and overall progress
  • Facilitate inspections and address construction-related issues
  • Keep a daily record of jobsite activities
  • Promote a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role
  • At least 5 years of experience in the construction sector
  • Proficient in interpreting electrical schematics and National Electrical Code (N.E.C.)

Educational Requirements

  • A college diploma or degree in construction management or a related discipline is advantageous
  • Successful completion of pre-employment assessments
