About Us
We have developed a proprietary model to identify unique investment opportunities in global sports. We are seeking to leverage this highly analytical approach to bring opportunities to institutional investors, venture capital firms and family offices for consideration.
We are seeking an entrepreneurial Co-Founder with a proven track record of leading M&A capital raising transactions ranging from $25M to $200M.
We are a small team with prior experience of identifying opportunities in global sports and taking them to market for investment.
Note: We are open to flexible arrangements for this opportunity (e.g. part time involvement focused specifically on the core requirements of the role)
What You’ll Do
- Work with team to confirm investment opportunities to be taken to market (based on results from analytical model)
- Lead investor outreach efforts with a focus on identifying capital partners interesting in sports related opportunities
- Engage with investors, stakeholders and potential partners
- Validate that investor materials are at the standard required for success – pitch deck, financial models, etc
- Ensure management incentives are in line with investor appetite (e.g. deal transaction fees, ongoing management fees, GP/LP distributions, etc.)
- Liaise with investors on financial performance of investment post close of transactions
Requirements
- Strong network of institutional capital, venture capital, private equity and family office relationship
- Proven track record of leading M&A capital raising transactions from $25M to $200M
- Well-versed in accounting, equity value and enterprise value, valuation approaches, DCF analysis, and transaction modeling
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a start-up environment
