Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Maintenance Manager located in Woodland, WA. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, and maintenance management. This includes overseeing maintenance and repair activities to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing and supervising all maintenance processes and operations, maintaining all machinery to ensure it’s at a working standard. Creating and implementing maintenance procedures. Conducts regular inspections of the facility to detect and resolve problems. Plan and manage all repairs and installation activities. Ensure all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures. The Maintenance Manager will oversee maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, and other building systems. They are responsible for the maintenance operations for a company’s facilities including ground maintenance. Activities of those supervised typically include painting, minor plumbing and electrical repairs, carpentry, replacing light bulbs and air conditioning filters, etc. Also includes production machinery and equipment maintenance. Manager level with direct responsibility for supervisor and maintenance technicians. Plans, schedules, and follows budget for periodic maintenance programs.

  • Strong knowledge of maintenance management principles
  • Ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities
  • Experience in the meatpacking or food processing industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred
