Job Summary

PrideStaff is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to oversee the mechanical maintenance needs of a large manufacturing facility in Woodland, CA. The ideal candidate will have multiple years of experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic, excellent time management and clear communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the Plant Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor to determine daily and weekly maintenance work requirements and schedule work.
  • Assign daily work to maintenance mechanics and assist in organizing and expediting the completion of work.
  • Take inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and prepare ordering information for purchasing.
  • Conduct visual inspections of maintenance jobs in progress and upon completion to ensure that quality standards are met.
  • Direct, organize, and schedule preventive maintenance and lubrication on production machinery and other plant equipment and facilities in accordance with the preventative maintenance program.
  • Build and install new equipment for plant improvements projects and make new tooling and equipment for replacement of worn-out items.
  • Repair broken or defective equipment as scheduled or needed.
  • Assist production personnel with mechanical, electrical, or other operational problems with plant equipment.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and assist in the performance of emergency maintenance work on a rush basis when production is adversely affected or directed by the maintenance supervisor.
  • Maintain preventative maintenance, tools, parts, and training records and prepare status reports as needed.
  • Assist the maintenance supervisor in training and orientation of maintenance mechanic employees.
  • Attend training programs or sessions to improve skills.
  • Inform the supervisor of needed parts or equipment, including training needs and requirements.
  • Keep the work area and equipment clean in proper working conditions at all times.
  • Keep solid attendance and punctuality.
  • Clearly communicate with team members and management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required.
  • Technical certification or relevant trade qualifications preferred.
  • 8+ years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience required.
  • Previous supervisor lead experience in the maintenance field required.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, manufacturing equipment, machinery, and systems.
  • Strong experience working with 480v and higher equipment.
  • Proficient in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
