Pacer Advisors is the investment advisor to Pacer ETFs with over $46 Billion in AUM and over 50 funds.

 Position Responsibilities:

  • The role is for asset management investment operations and how they interact with other parts of the company such as portfolio management, marketing, financial operations and Compliance. 
  • The successful candidate will interact with several different vendors including back office, index partnerships, stock exchanges and other critical vendors to ensure all procedures are operating efficiently.  These include both US and International based vendors. 
  • The position must understand how all the vendors fit within the operations of the funds.
  • The ability to identify issues and manage challenges by presenting solutions, and generally acting as point person for issues impacting the operational flow of the funds. 
  • Problem solving for escalated issues, as well as proactively reviewing operational controls is a significant component of the role.
  • Communicating the status of certain projects with management will be critical to this role which includes various ongoing SEC regulatory filings and new fund filings.
  • Many projects have firm deadline dates so the ability to manage those timeframes and ensure all information is delivered back to the client is critical.

·        This role requires collaboration across various departments and associates throughout the firm with an eye towards creating and ongoing refinement of efficiencies around the Investment Operations workflows and processes. Oversight of firm-related tasks such as preparation and delivery of reports, and ongoing support of the funds and investment strategies will be a significant part of this position.

·        Build repeatable workflows for implementation to achieve efficiency of tasks.

Background Requirements/Preferences:

  • 3+ years’ experience in the financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with investments [e.g. ETF’s, Mutual Funds, Stocks & Bonds, Separately Managed Accounts (SMA’s),
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented and able to multitask.
  • FINRA Licenses not required but a plus. The company will sponsor FINRA exams.
  • Ability to make and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player, collaborative with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Desire/ability to work successfully in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • A strong work ethic. Takes ownership of actions and responsibilities.
