LHH is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Specialist to join our clients team on a contract basis. This is a hybrid position, 2-3 days in office each week. The contract is expected to convert into a permanent role.


The Project Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting our project management team to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong communication skills, exceptional multitasking abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.


Responsibilities:

  • Project Documentation: Assist in the creation, maintenance, and organization of project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports.
  • Communication: Facilitate communication between project team members, clients, and stakeholders by scheduling meetings, drafting correspondence, and distributing relevant project information.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure resources are allocated effectively and that project tasks are completed according to schedule.
  • Risk Management: Assist in identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.
  • Quality Assurance: Support the implementation of quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the project management team, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing travel arrangements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in post-project reviews and contribute ideas for process improvements and best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience 2-3 years working in a project coordination or administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software/tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude with a willingness to take initiative and solve problems independently.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., CAPM, PMP) is a plus.
