Role

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Head of Technology at The DExT. As the Head of Technology, you will be responsible for leading the software development and infrastructure team, implementing and improving continuous integration and deployment processes, and ensuring the team's adherence to best practices. You will also be responsible for working on and overseeing computer network operations, network administration, network security, and network design. This role requires strong skill sets in the areas and untimely team management skills as we grow our team. This is a hybrid role, where you will primarily be located in Lehi, UT but will have flexibility for some remote work.


Qualifications

  • Software Development and Infrastructure experience
  • 3 years experience developing using SaltStack
  • Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team
  • Experience with Linux
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Computer Network Operations, Network Administration, and Network Security skills
  • Network Design skills
  • Experience in team management
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of industry best practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work both in an office and remotely
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus
