Compliance Coordinator


Location: Las Vegas, NV


Summary: The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the organization adheres to all applicable legal, regulatory, and policy requirements. This position involves the development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance programs, conducting audits, and providing support to internal departments to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance. The Compliance Coordinator helps promote a culture of ethical conduct and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Assist in ensuring the organization’s activities comply with legal, regulatory, and internal standards, including industry-specific regulations.
  • Policy Implementation: Help draft, update, and maintain organizational policies and procedures related to compliance.
  • Training & Education: Coordinate and provide training to employees on compliance-related issues, including new regulations and internal policies.
  • Audits & Monitoring: Support internal and external audits; conduct regular compliance reviews and spot checks to identify potential areas of risk.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, and assist in preparing reports for regulatory agencies and senior management.
  • Risk Assessment: Assist in identifying potential compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Incident Management: Help track and investigate non-compliance incidents, propose corrective actions, and ensure follow-up.
  • Communication: Act as a point of contact for compliance inquiries from internal staff and external stakeholders, providing timely and accurate responses.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and suggest ways to enhance the organization’s compliance framework.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, compliance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field. Experience in a regulated industry is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze complex regulations and implement appropriate measures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with compliance software and tools is an advantage
