We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Generalist to join the team at a thriving manufacturing plant. This role requires a versatile HR professional with a strong understanding of human resources practices and prior experience in the field.


Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Handbook Management: Rewrite and maintain the HR handbook to ensure policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
  • Communication and Announcements: Write HR headlines, company announcements, and the company newsletter to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Written Communications: Draft letters and other forms of communication to support various HR initiatives and processes.
  • Onboarding and Orientation: Organize and conduct new hire orientation and onboarding programs to facilitate a smooth integration of new employees into the company.
  • HR Training: Develop and deliver HR-related training programs to enhance employee knowledge and compliance with company policies.
  • Recruitment and Retention: Attend job fairs to attract new talent, and conduct stay and exit interviews to understand employee satisfaction and reasons for leaving.
  • Employee Engagement: Create and execute strategies to boost employee engagement, including regular interactions on the manufacturing floor to gather feedback, address concerns, and promote a positive workplace atmosphere.
  • Payroll Data Management: Control and maintain the master data for payroll to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Benefits Management: Help manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
  • Support to HR Director: Act as the right-hand person for the HR Director, assisting with various HR tasks and strategic initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Prior experience in an HR role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
