OBJECTIVE: The Senior Vice President of Sales provides leadership and direction to the organization’s customer-facing roles. The SVP of Sales is accountable for sales, margins, and customer experience performance. This will be achieved through Account Managers and the Customer Service team, including analytics and competitive research and insight.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Direct report staff includes Wholesale Sales Manager and Customer Service Manager
  • Assign targets for profitable volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives
  • Aligns the organization’s objectives with the business strategy through active participation in strategic planning, strategy development, forecasting, resource planning, and budgeting
  • Accountable for effective organization design, including job roles, resource deployment and channel design
  • Identifies where improvements can be made and develop plans and strategies to achieve goals
  • Outlining and managing budgets
  • Setting quarterly and annual goals and motivating the teams to achieve their goals
  • Monitoring the market and competitor products and activities and providing detailed sales forecasting
  • Reviewing customer activity, anticipating consumer needs, and improving customer satisfaction
  • Creating reports and providing feedback to the leadership team
  • Establishing and maintaining key customer relationships

Physical Requirements:

Regularly stand/sit for extended periods, operate office equipment, perform light-moderate lifting, lift/move up to 35 lbs. occasionally, bend, twist, and maintain posture. Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in Sales Leadership and Merchandising
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in people management
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience in managing and implementing processes


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Amazon, Wayfair, Home Depot platforms
  • Experience with Big Box, Brick and Mortar and A&D Sales planning and organization

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
