Territory Sales Specialist

Job Summary
Abacus Sports is seeking a Sales Representative to grow the Northeast market with their lines of Sports Flooring & Athletic Lockers. This person will call on Architects, Contractors, Coaches, and other End-Users focusing on the K-12, Collegiate Athletics, and Recreation markets.
Responsibilities and Duties
• 80% of time spent in the field visiting with clients
• Communicate project details and pricing requests with Abacus Sports team
• Follow up on projects, and remain the point-of-contact through completion
• Attend industry trade shows and events
Qualifications and Skills
3 years of sales experience in the Architect/Design/Flooring industry is preferred, and experience in Athletics will be highly considered.
Self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task within a fast paced environment. Excellent sales aptitude, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Well developed organization and time management skills. Ability to work in a team environment, and adjust direction quickly based on the needs and best interest of the company.
Territory includes New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts … and includes regular travel throughout the territory. Candidates must live within the territory, or be willing to relocate to one of those areas.
