Job type: 6 months contract (extension possible)

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support our top pharmaceutical client. The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for supporting procurement and purchasing activities. They will work on financial analysis and data entry to support the group. It is expected for the consultant to follow PMO governance process.


Work you will do: In this role you will work closely with procurement to complete financial analysis and communicate with stakeholders. You will also forecast spend based on previous years or adjusted rates. You will work heavily with data entry and excel to submit orders accurately and keep track of budget entries used by the leadership team.


Role Expectations:

  • Familiarity with procurement/purchasing activities
  • Ability to complete financial analysis and communicate with stakeholders
  • Ability to forecast spend based on previous year orders or adjusted rates
  • Data Entry & Attention to Detail a MUST; submitting orders accurately and recording budget entries that are aggregated to our leadership team
  • Decision-making and Integrity; following PMO governance process and not overspending budget for fiscal year
  • Computer skills and proficiency with MS Teams
  • Proficient in excel
  • Knowledge of finance / budget management
  • Knowledge of data reporting
  • IT background
  • PMO background
