Apex Systems is looking for a Sr. Technical Project Manager to join a growing client in Greenwood Village CO that is working a hybrid onsite schedule.
This role will support an API based software development platform and help define what the processes are and people to support those processes that are needed.
Experience Required:
- 10+ years of Project Management experience for software development initiatives
- Experience creating, executing, documenting, and owning project/program processes for software-based platforms
- Experience with API based platforms
- Strong technical background from a project management perspective (or prior experience in a technical/software dev role)
- Experience working in an enterprise organization
- Very strong proficiency in Jira
- Excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to align on process, document process, and be responsible for executing processes identified.
- Develop internal processes for Intake, Release Management, and Defect Management
- Develop internal process needed for Program Communications
- Define responsibilities for monitoring overall platform performance
- Define intake, process, and approval workflow for APIs
- Document and support created processes after creation
- Work with department/stakeholders on standing up proposed processes
- Develops project plan and drives project milestones.
- Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders.
- Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.
- Responsible for preparation of documentation and status reports.
