Who We Are

Two Blind Brothers is a clothing line on a mission to cure blindness. Founders Bradford and Bryan Manning were both diagnosed with an eye disease that causes blindness over time. This condition has inspired a special vigilance for details, a passion that carries over into the construction of our clothing and accessories. Our focus is on ensuring the high quality and expert craftsmanship of each item we sell, and 100% of our profits are donated to the Foundation Fighting Blindness to fund life-changing research to cure blindness. Where You'll Come In

As the Head of Development and Technical Operations at Two Blind Brothers, you will be pivotal in shaping our online presence. Your role encompasses developing and maintaining our Shopify store's front end, creating custom Shopify apps tailored to our unique needs, and managing outsourced technical support. This multifaceted position requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and project management skills.


Responsibilities


  • Develop, test, and implement front-end changes and new features for our Shopify store.
  • Design and build custom Shopify apps to enhance user experience and meet specific business needs.
  • Coordinate with outsourced technical teams for additional development and technical support.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and communications between internal teams and external vendors.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in web development and Shopify ecosystem to continually enhance our online presence.
  • Work in tandem with the Head of Production and Operations on comprehensive projects encompassing the backend of the website, including integrations with warehouse management systems, streamlining fulfillment processes, and ensuring efficient logistics operations.
  • Partner with the Head of E-commerce and Digital Analytics to leverage data insights for optimizing online user experience and enhancing e-commerce strategies, while aligning development projects with analytics-driven insights for improved performance and customer satisfaction.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in front-end web development and custom Shopify app development.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web design coding languages.
  • Experience with Shopify’s API and app development platform.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate outsourced technical teams effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
