About the Role:

As a Quality Intern, you will assist to develop, design manufacturing processes and equipment; Provide engineering support for New products manufacturing processes; Ensure the production of a high quality products in a timely, cost effective manner; Assist, advise and solve manufacturing problems as they may occur; Lead/coordinate activities using team interaction to accomplish successful product launches.


Ideally looking for an intern available year-round, 30-40 hours per week pending school schedule.


Responsibilities Include:

Lead the following activities:

  • For process modification (APU or Customer request), provide the process justification and data for:
  • Work closely with plant QE and warranty engineers
  • Quality improvement
  • Work with QMS Admin on EWS
  • Bridge between customer and plant quality issues and improvements
  • Bridge between APU request and Project Product change management. (And vice versa).
  • Creates a Level 2 timing plan (Top 10 project) to ensure all process development tasks meet the project’s Level 1 timing milestones
  • Creates and maintains master development work plans, such as WI, PFMEA, Process Flow per ECR/ECO requirement
  • Responsible for Process KPI & SPPC tracking during trial builds and validation.
  • Secure the "agree" deliverable for process function according to the Project Open Issue list


What You Should Have:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completing a Mechanical, MET BS program or related technical degree.
